Introduce yourself into the wonderful world of creating stunning pieces of artwork on a smaller scale with this evening workshop, focusing on mixed media techniques that can easily be adapted onto larger pieces of artwork.

Choose from a variety of Relics and Artifacts blank resin pieces created by artist Sandra Evertson as the base and learn how to create a stunning necklace using a variety of colors, texture pastes, and other found objects.

Student supply list to bring to class:

  • black and white gesso
  • paint brushes in a variety of sizes
  • sponges/daubers or the like for detail work
  • palette knives
  • liquid adhesive that holds metal and other embellishments like Liquid Fusion
  • heat tool
  • craft mat
  • ‘red line’ tape or similar
  • detail scissors
  • craft knife
  • charms, ephemera, embellishments and other found objects that you may want to include in your work to personalize your finished piece
